Visual8 - Advanced Course Overview
This 2 day course covers the more advanced SIMUL8 features such as Dialog Boxes, Templates, Components, and Visual Logic Controls. It also includes instruction on the use of Visual Basic and Visual Logic, SIMUL8’s programming language.
Visual8 provide an optional 3rd training day. This allows you to spend time with your trainers to learn how to apply SIMUL8 to your specific problem and review the course material and its application to your simulation needs.
Pre-Course Requirements
As this is an intensive course delegates must have mastered the fundamentals of SIMUL8. If you are not sure which of our courses is right for your current skill level, please contact us.
Its useful for the delegate to have a basic understanding of the areas they'd like to simulate after the course. This gives the delegate the opportunity to discuss their applications during the course.

Each day will consist of short lectures followed by interactive,
hands-on sessions in which attendees will work on more challenging
projects.

Introduction to the Information Store

- Creating and using variables and spreadsheets

Accessing Excel and VBA
- Some Sample Applications
- Establishing the Link Reading from / Writing to

Day 2:
Visual Logic Call and Dialogue Boxes
- Timing of Visual Logic Calls

Introduction to the Job Matrix

- Copy/Paste to Information Store
Global Objects

Cost
The cost for the 2 day training course is $1495 per delegate. The optional 3rd day is available for an additional $500.
